On Tuesday, October 25th, all Sophomores and Juniors will have the opportunity to take the PSAT exam at Millville High School during the school day. This will be free of charge for all Sophomores and at a cost of only $20 for all Juniors.
This is a standardized test given by the CollegeBoard that provides practice for the SAT. It also gives students a chance to gain access to college and career planning tools. Juniors will also be considered for the National Merit Scholarship competition. The PSAT will measure critical reading skills, math problem solving skills, and writing skills.
We encourage students to bring their own calculators to this test. Calculators will also be available for any student who needs one on test day.
The PSAT will be given to ALL 10th grade (Sophomore) students.
Any 11th grade student (Junior) that wishes to take the PSAT MUST register with the Counseling Office by Thursday, October 20th.
