Bolt Bucks ⚡
Attention all students: it’s time to turn in those Bolt Bucks! We will hold our first raffle this Friday, October 18th during Block 2 announcements. We will pick 4 student winners each week, but you won’t win a prize if you don’t turn in your Bolt Bucks! Students at Memorial can use the Bolt Bucks Bins in the Library and Attendance Office, and students at the Senior High can use Bolt Bucks Bin in the new Library. Get your bucks turned in by the end of Block 1 on Friday in order to be entered into this week’s raffle! 

Don’t forget: we are still looking for student feedback on the types of prizes you want to win this year! Please see the flyers in your classrooms or ask in the Library about how to access the easy online survey. We want to hear from you!

Men's Lacrosse Team 📣

If you’re interested in playing Lacrosse, now is the time! Please join us at our informational meeting this Friday, October 18th at 2:30 PM in the Auditorium at Memorial HS. If you have questions about the program, please see Mr. Kahn in Room A-109 at the Senior HS during Blocks 1 through 3.

🎳 Bowling Club 🎳
Bowling Club will begin on Tuesday, October 22nd. You can find information and pick up a copy of the permission slip in the Memorial HS Main Office or the Senior HS Library Media Center. We will leave from the Senior HS after school on the 22nd. Memorial HS students should take the shuttle bus. Hope to see you there!

Health Professions Club 👩‍⚕️

The first Health Professions Club will meet on Wednesday, October 23rd in Room B-107 at the Senior HS from 2:30 to 3:30 PM, featuring Kristin Trout, OT (Occupational Therapist from Inspira Hospital). Kristin Trout will speak on careers involving both Occupational and Physical Therapy as well as employment in a hospital setting. Any student who is interested in joining this club is encouraged to attend this meeting. Please see Miss Horin in Room B-107 at the Senior HS if you have any questions.

🏊‍♀️ Swim Team 🏊‍♂️
Attention anyone interested in swimming: we will be holding an informational meeting after school on Tuesday, October 29th in the Senior HS Library Media Center. If Memorial students have a question or need a shuttle bus pass, please see Coach Ganci in the Memorial Gym or Coach Harrington in Room A-108.

🥫 Veterans Day Drive 🥫

Student Council, Key Club, and NHS are collection non-perishable food items and other items for the Millville Veteran Multi-Service Center until Thursday, October 31st. You can drop off items and ask questions at the Senior HS in the following locations: Library Media Center, A-108, A-207, and B-203. You drop off items and ask questions at Memorial HS in the following locations: the Main Office, Library Media Center, and A-110.

🏈 Football Game Procedures 🏈
The following rules will be in effect for fans attending our home football games:
-- All students in 8th grade and below MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian at the football game.
-- Please remember that students are not to congregate and loiter during and after the game. Security and police have been instructed to have people move to the bleachers.
-- Students who are disruptive in any way, including running, will be removed from the game and are subject to school discipline as this is a school sponsored event.
-- Bags, food, and drinks are prohibited from being brought into the stadium.
-- State law prohibits smoking on all school grounds (this includes all athletics fields at the Senior High School and Memorial High School).
-- At the end of the third quarter the gates will be locked and no one will be permitted to enter the game.
-- Home Varsity Football games will begin at 6 PM.
-- Junior Varsity and freshman home football games will begin at 3:45 PM.

Student Council
There is a student council meeting TODAY, October 17th in the AFTERNOON ONLY. We will be completing a project. If you cannot stay the whole time, please see Ms. Rossbach in Room A-108 for questions.

AP Exam
Attention AP students: if you are taking an AP class in the first semester and plan on taking the AP exam, the registration deadline is quickly approaching! A registration sheet with your $40 deposit is due by Thursday, October 24th in the Guidance Office. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Giercyk in the Guidance Office.

enior Wear
Attention Seniors: Senior Wear is now on sale in Room A-104 until Thursday, October 31st. NO ORDERS WILL BE TAKEN AFTER THIS DATE. For more details such as design, sizes, and pricing, please go to A-104. This sale is for SENIORS ONLY. Order yours today!

Senior Scholarship
Attention Seniors: there is a scholarship opportunity available through the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks! If you are planning to attend college and you have a GPA of at least 2.5 or higher, see Ms. Jackson in the Guidance Office! Hurry, the deadline is quickly approaching!

Lunch @ the Library
This is just a reminder to students that there is an easy process to visit the Library during lunch! See the poster in the cafeteria or the signs in classrooms for details. Students MUST sign up before their lunch to get a Library Lunch Pass and MUST turn that pass in to staff when arriving for their lunch. Students will be sent back to the cafeteria if they do not follow this process. Thank you for your cooperation as we look forward to another year of Lunch @ the Library!

Leaders Club
Attention Leaders Club: we have two volunteer opportunities available. Please stop by the Athletic Department for more information and to sign up.

Rowan College of South Jersey
RCSJ will be having a meeting about their on-site admissions program. Interested Seniors should sign up in the Guidance Office.
