๐ŸŽฎ eSports Club Fundraiser ๐ŸŽฎ
Attention gamers! Want to play games and raise money for the eSports Club? On Friday, March 22nd from 3 PM to 5 PM join us in Tech Room 2 at Memorial HS for a special after-school game day where you can play Fortnite, Tekken 7, Apex Legends, Madden, and where we be holding our first Super Smash Bros Ultimate Tournament! Cost to enter the tournament is $5 per student. Snacks will be available for purchase and all proceeds will go towards your Millville High School eSports Club! See you there!

Purchase a complete lunch from Tuesday, March 19th to Friday, March 22nd and receive an entry coupon and enter to win one of two Beats EP Headphones. Enter as many times as you like! Winners will be announced on Monday, March 25th.

๐Ÿ†• Men's Lacrosse Club ๐Ÿ†•
The new Men’s Lacrosse Club will be meeting TODAY, March 22nd at 2:30 PM in the Senior HS Little Theater. Coach Kahn will be giving information about the schedule, training, equipment, and practice routine and answering any questions you might have about the program. If you are interested in joining, you must attend the meeting TODAY! If you have any questions, please see Coach Kahn in Room A-109 before school.

๐Ÿš‘ Health Professions Club ๐Ÿš‘
The next Health Professions Club meeting will be on Thursday, March 28th from 2:30 to 3:30 PM in Room B-107. The meeting will feature Kristin Trout, OT (Occupational Therapist) from Inspira. Miss Trout will be discussing the field of Occupational Therapy as well as other areas pertaining to sports medicine. Any student interested in this area of medicine is encouraged to come to this meeting. If you have any questions, please see Ms. Horin in Room B-107.

Volleyball Tournament ๐Ÿ
The PTSA will once again sponsor their popular volleyball tournament. All proceeds benefit Project Graduation. Sign-ups ARE NOW OPEN in Room A-104 at the Senior HS, before or after school. The event will be held Wednesday, April 3rd in the Senior HS gymnasium at 6:00 PM. This year all students and staff of both Memorial HS and the Senior HS, are welcome to play! Any combination of teachers and students are allowed. You must have an equal ratio of males and females, 3 males, 3 females or 4 males, 4 females. Cost is $40 per team or $5 per player. Deadline for all team entries is Friday, March 29th. Don’t miss out on this great evening of fun!

 โญ Art Talent Showcase โญ

The Cumberland County Black Hall of Fame is hosting a Teen Showcase of Artistic Performances on Wednesday, April 24th from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Cumberland County College. Categories include Poetry, Vocal, Dance, Instrumental Music, and Small Group Performances, as well as Artwork Displays. Interested students should visit the Guidance Office for more information.

Spring weight training begins next week at the Senior HS Weight Room from 2:30 to 3:30 PM. Boys days are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Girls days are Tuesday and Thursday. Come out and get in shape! It’s never too early to start preparing for next year!

How much sleep did you get last night? Did you know that you as a teen need between 9 and 9 and 1/2 hours of sleep every night? Getting enough sleep makes you less grumpy, more alert during the day, able to concentrate better, and puts you in a better mood overall! So put down your phone, tablet, or video game and get enough ZZZZZ's tonight.

NHS/Student Council Food Drive
The National Honor Society and Senior HS Student Council are collecting non-perishable food items to be delivered to local elderly in need. Items can be dropped off in A207 or T108. If you have any questions or to see a list of possible items to donate, see Ms. Montecino in A207 or Ms. Rossbach in T108. All donations must be dropped off by Monday, April 1st. Thank you!

Hispanic Leadership Conference

Senior students that have met with Ms. Jackson about the Hispanic Leadership Conference MUST turn in their permission slips in order to attend! Hurry, time is running out!

Leaders Club
We have two volunteer opportunities coming up. Please see Mr. LaGamba or Ms. Hand (currently located in the Guidance Office) for more information and to sign up.

Summer Internship
If you love Math and Science, are creative and hardworking, and desire a STEM-related career, then there is an internship for you! Northrop Grumman is sponsoring a Summer STEM High School Internship where you will work alongside top engineers and scientists in a fun and challenging environment. This is open to students in 11th and 12th grade who have a minimum GPA of 3.25. Students can get more information in the Guidance Office or apply directly online at northropgrumman.com.

Summer Employment
18-year-old students who are interested in summer employment can stop by the Guidance Office to pick up a handout with information. The work is in a factory in Vineland and starts at $12 an hour.

Italian American Scholarship Opportunity
If you are of Italian descent, plan to attend college, and have a GPA of at least 2.8, please see Ms. Jackson in the Guidance Office for a scholarship opportunity.


PBSIS Monthly Theme
This month's PBSIS Monthly Theme is GRATITUDE. Gratitude is the feeling of being thankful and appreciative. When a friend goes above and beyond, be sure to verbalize your appreciation. You can also show your appreciation treating your friend to a soda, snack, or even a small note. Getting caught having Gratitude EARNS you Bolt Bucks!
